High Success rate for UK-Norway applications to the HVC 4 Grant Call
The independant assor panel approved 4 out of 5 bilateral projects submitted to the High Value Chemicals 4 grant call with deadline 4th of November 2012.
Congratulations to Seagarden, ScandiDerma and Algipharma!
ScandiDerma will together with Epistem Ltd develop an
in vitro living skin equivalent for testing anti-inflammatory
substances.
Seagarden intend in collaboration with Uniliver to etablish high value chemicals by biotechnological modifications of polysaccharides derived from crustacean carapaces.
Algipharma and CPI will collaborate to produce alginate oligomers by fermentation. G-rich alginate oligomers have
proven effective on a range of bacteria and fungi.
Seagarden is also involved in a second project approved in this call.
The company will in partnership with Biocatalyst develop a scalable, sustainable maufaturingprocess for a novel high value polypeptide beficial in autoimmune and inflammatory disorders
